I've been around children all of my life. I started watching the neighborhood children when I was 13 and babysat all during high school. My senior year of high school, I had a job taking care of twins who were 6 months old at the time I began. I started having my children in 1987 and wanted to be home with them. In 1993 I opened my own home daycare and ran it until 2002. I began working for my friend in her licensed home daycare from 2002 until 2004 and then took a job that afforded me more hours at a licensed preschool/daycare. From 2005 until now, I have been employed in the crazy business world and now I want and need to get back to what I love doing the most......being with the children. I have 2 new grandbabies and I'm enjoying watching them grow so much. It Read more brings back the most wonderful memories of my home daycare and working with the children on a daily basis. The most satisfying aspect of caring for children is being part of their lives and watching them grown and learn. I enjoy being with them and being part of all of the new experiences that they have. I have taken CPR and First Aid training twice since 2004. I am also certified as a Teacher Assistant through the state of Rhode Island. I look forward to hearing from you and helping you to care for your child while you are away from them.
