My name is Rachel Wolak. I just graduated from West Virginia University with my Bachelors of Science in Public Health and a minor in health promotion. I just moved back to North Carolina and am looking for a part time job while I am taking summer classes at UNC Chapel Hill. I love working with children and eventually want to go to grad school to become and occupational therapist and work in pediatrics. A bit about my past work experience I started babysitting during middle school and continued throughout high school. I watched up to 4 children (ages ranging from infant-10) at a, time 2-3 times a week during the school year 2 pm-6 pm and during the summer time 830 am-530 pm and some evenings or overnights. It was my responsibility to take them where they needed to be and make them breakfast, lunch and dinner. I gave them Read more baths, planned outings and nightly activities and also helped them with homework. I was a live in Nanny June-August 2016. I watched their 4 kids (9, 7, 4 and 2 years old) throughout the summer hours varied. I was responsible for making them meals, taking them to places, helping them with workbooks, getting them ready for bed and their overall health and wellness. I was a full time employee within residence. I am also CPR certified and attended a red cross babysitting class before I started babysitting. Summer of 2017 I nannied for a 11 month old from May-August. Summer of 2018 I watched 2 month old twins throughout the night so their parents could catch up on some sleep. My last year at WVU I worked at a daycare where I was a "resource staff teacher" which is like a substitute when the main teacher couldn't be there.
