I am nineteen years old, and the oldest sister of 4 boys (one 17 year old biological brother, and 3 step brothers aged 5, 6, and 9). I am currently enrolled at Appalachian State University as a Geology major, prior to which I was an English Education major, so I'm pretty solid in math, science, and english! I've always been really good with children, and I think this is probably due to my personal belief that children shouldn't be talked down to or coddled, but treated like people with intelligence and a capacity to understand, as well as people to make friends with as opposed to something to control. Given the makeup of my family, I'm very well versed with children of all ages. Like a great majority of teenage girls, I made a small career out of babysitting when I was in middle and high school.
