I am currently studying abroad in Granada, Spain. When I return in December, I am hoping to find a part time babysitting job. I also enjoy working on weekends for date night or any other special occasion. I am a senior at Meredith College in Raleigh, NC. I am an international studies major with a concentration in Spanish. My level of Spanish is high intermediate, and I could definitely practice basic conversation with your child! While at Meredith, I have been very involved in various leadership roles as well as working on campus as an office assistant. While I am not an education major, I have been babysitting for 6 years. Beginning in high school, I was a nanny for 2 toddlers for about 5 hours a day. Over the 2 years I worked for their family, I took the kids everywhere! We went to the pool, park, playground, science Read more museum, library, and many more places. However, I found that the most fun was when we were at their home, playing with toys or reading books. I cherish the time that I spent with them. I have also worked as a nanny to a 10 month old and his 7 year old brother when I took off a year before college. I did light housekeeping, helped with meals, babysat the brother when he was tracked out, and a lot of date nights. One of my favorite memories with this family was that they had chickens in their backyard, and the youngest loved to go on the patio and make chicken noises. The summer after my freshman year of college, I was a nanny for a 4 month old little boy. It was such a fun and sweet summer to spend watching him grow. There is nothing like being able to watch a baby learn, grow, and get bigger! The summer after my sophomore year and throughout my junior year, I worked as a babysitter for a 5 year old girl. In the summer, we did fun activities like the pool, splash pad, fun fairs, or marbles. During the school year I would pick her up from school, take her to gymnastics, take her to dance, help with homework, and play games! Once a month, for the weekend I would take care of her from 7AM-5PM, and occasionally date nights as well. As you can see, I love spending my time as a babysitter. I am looking forward to coming back to Raleigh and babysitting again! I am comfortable with any age, but most of my experience is ages 4 mo-8 yrs old.
