My name is Holly and I have been licensed since 2010. I have 3 wonderful children of my own. I love my profession; there is no greater feeling than knowing that you have helped in the learning and growth of children. It is rewarding in so many ways. I' m thankful for the opportunity to have one of the most important jobs out there. What I enjoy most is seeing the expression of a child who has just discovered something new and wonderful for the first time and when they are able to perform a new skill without assistance for the first time. I have been caring for children the majority of my life in one fashion or another, from the young age of 14 to now, caring for family members, neighbor' s children and children in the community. There are so many great options for your children. What makes Read more my in home care different, is that I like to keep the ratio of children low. I' m not wanting to jeopardize any child for competing with a care givers time or making the child feel like their voice is not being heard. Each child has the right to express their own individual beings. Your child will have the option to nap on their own schedule in their own room. We take trips to the park, explore the area around us. We like to get involved in the outdoors and we also like to have time to play inside and meet friends. I like to keep the feeling in our home very relaxed. All meals are homemade unless you prefer to provide meals yourself. I set up monthly calendars along with monthly activities. I look forward to hearing from your family. It is very important that both sides feel a connection. I take great pride in providing a very comfortable and intimate setting for the children and surrounding them with positivity and encouragement to be the best they can be. Thank you, Holly Barton
