Hello! Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile! I have provided childcare to many families over the past 20 years. I am looking for a full-time childcare position during the day that I would be able to bring my 7-month-old son along with me. I am currently a Licensed Veterinary Technician and have been working in the veterinary field for 20 years while doing childcare on and off on the side. I have been working in an emergency hospital for the past 4 years, and with the birth of my first son, I have decided it is time for a change of pace. It is so very important to me that I am able to be home with him and not working overnights, so I have cut my hours back to very part-time evenings and have chosen to pursue a great childcare situation that would allow Read more me to be with him. I have my own, reliable transportation and am comfortable running errands and shuttling kids to and from activities. I can provide excellent references from 3 families that I have worked with here in North Carolina. I love outdoor activities and I am a leader in a very active hiking and outdoors group. I am breastfeeding, cloth diaper, and baby-wearing friendly. I enjoy cooking and I am an excellent multitask-er and very organized. I have worked with a family of 5 busy home schooled children and have taken care of a preemie baby with a local family as well. I also have some experience with behavioral special needs.
