Since a young age, I always have been good with children. I started taking care of children when my little brother was born, so as my mother worked I helped around with him, giving him his baths and feeding him. As I grew older, I would volunteer at a local church and babysit the parents children while they were attending the church services. However, it wasn't until 22 that I started to officially work with children. In July of 2013, I joined the Creative Mind's Children's Center in Newport Center, VT. I was hired as a substitute teacher, and quickly made my way up to being an assistant preschool teacher. At CMCC, I earned my CDA (a certification given out by Washington DC, and recognized throughout the 50 states), for preschool age group (ages 3-5) and I have become CPR/First Aid certified, with training in infant CPR as well. I Read more have attended several training's, and still do on early childhood brain development, art training's etc to continue to expand my knowledge in the early childhood field. Some trainers I have seen are Scott Noyes, Janine Fitzgerald, and several more. I have recently moved to the Charlotte area, and would love to continue my work with children. I am a very nurturing, creative and energetic young woman, with a big heart.
