I have a passion for working with children and have been babysitting since I was 14. I come from a family of teachers so I have volunteered in the classroom throughout my life. I have experience working with people with special needs as my mother has been a special education teacher for 30 years. I also was part of the Best Buddies Program at the University of Colorado Boulder. I was director, membership coordinator, and activities coordinator during my time in CU Best Buddies. I have experience with children of all ages. I have been a gymnastics instructor for 6 years, teaching children ages 2-16 varying levels of gymnastics. I have volunteered for two after school programs that help children in need (Project Yes and Casa De La Esperanza in Colorado). I was also a 7th grade math teacher last year at J.M.
