I have been a child care provider for eight years and I find it to be the most fulfilling and amazing job that is offered, which is why I wish to continue being a nanny. I believe that my child care skills are what your family is seeking and because I am caring, responsible, creative and most importantly qualified child care provider I feel I would be a good match for your family! I started caring for children when I was twelve years old after I completed a child care course that included infant CPR and first aid. I have cared for children from ages five weeks to fourteen years old. As I continued my work I grew as a child care provider and after two jobs in retail and the food industry, I came to the realization that I would like to work with children in my profession. I Read more am currently attending Queens University of Charlotte and Central Piedmont Community College as a music therapy major, with the intent on working with children with disabilities after I graduate. While I appreciate my schooling and what it has to offer, I would like to continue my work as a child care provider for at least two years before I graduate to provide myself with hands on experience with children. I have a clean driving record, with a kid friendly car. I have received my CPR certification this year, along with in-depth first aid training. I teach music, tutor and encourage learning for each child I care for. I have experience with children and adolescents with autism, down syndrome, muscular dystrophy, cancer, depression, anxiety disorders, diabetes and fragile x syndrome, therefor I am comfortable with children with various types of disabilities. Working with children and fueling their passion for learning and exploring and having fun is what I love doing with my life. It is not just a job, but a passion of mine. I believe my experiences, excellent record and love for this profession would make me a superb fit for your family!
