Hello! My name is Heather and I am 27 years old. I am a college graduate and a part time yoga instructor. I have been a babysitter and a nanny for 13+ years; one of my very first jobs was at a daycare in Louisville KY! During college, I babysat and nannied for several families with children of various ages, as well as served as a mother's helper, personal cook, house sitter and/or petsitter for many of the families. Since moving to Charlotte, NC in 2007, I have met so many wonderful families and have had the pleasure of caring for their children. The Weavers and The Ross's are among two of the families I have cared for for 7 years. My duties consisted of preparing meals, driving the children to their activities, cleaning up, and being an excellent entertainer! When the parents traveled for pleasure and/or work I stayed Read more with the children for up to 6 nights at a time. I love playing and interacting with children! One great thing about being around kids is there's never a dull moment; even a conversation with a child will make you smile. I love the outdoors and going on walks or taking trips to the park. I also enjoy stimulating their minds by taking trips to museums or playing educational games, anything to get them learning and growing! My proudest babysitting moment is receiving emails, text messages and thank you letters from parents saying how much it means to them to be able to travel and know their children are in great care. It is also SO rewarding when the children tell there friends: "Heather is the best babysitter ever!" and when they get really excited when you show up at there door :). Caring for children is truly a passion of mine and something I find to be so rewarding and fun! I look forward to meeting and becoming a part of your family soon.
