Meet Julie

As a recent USC grad residing in Atlanta, I am so excited to start calling the Queen City my new home! I have had experience babysitting children of all ages since my early teen years and they have all been rewarding experiences. I have always been committed to providing a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for the children in my care. While I am not CPR or First Aid certified, I take safety very seriously and would be open to becoming certified if a future employer desired. I am currently nannying M-F for 2 girls, ages 10 and 12. I am responsible for homework help, meal preparation, school pick up, transportation to activities, dog walking, various errands, and ensuring they get their chores done. We also love to play outdoors, craft, and play board games! During the weekends, my hands are full with 3 rambunctious & rowdy boys (ages 1.5, Read more 3, & 5) changing diapers, fixing bottles, and ensuring they do not strangle one another (mostly over the iPad!). While they can be a challenge, I always enjoy my time with them and have learned techniques to help them wind down. *Both families are aware of my upcoming move My first nannying job consisted of watching over two 10-year-old girls. I regularly picked them up from school, drove them to after-school activities, helped with homework, and occasionally fixed meals and snacks. While they were sometimes a handful, we always enjoyed spending most of our time outdoors and jamming to Taylor Swift! While working part-time at a resort in Charleston, SC, I had the wonderful experience living with my cousins and their then 2-year-old daughter. If my cousins ever wanted to go on a date night or needed extra help, I would gladly watch after her or assist with feeding and bathing. Playing games, reading, and watching her favorite movies together became a daily routine - she became my best friend that summer! During my senior year of college, I nannied for a 3-year-old girl who is still very close to my heart! My main duties consisted of picking her up from day care, fixing her dinner, helping with her speech impediment (which she has now mostly overcome!), and caring for the family's dog. Her speech therapist sent home pronunciation homework sheets and we would practice specific words every week. It was always amazing to see her progress!
