I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old. Mostly summers, and date nights. Then in college I nannied for a family with a 3,5 and 10 year old. I did their morning routines, drop offs and pickups and their afternoon care. I continued to babysit after I graduated during school breaks and date nights. Over the last two years I have worked for two different families mostly with older elementary and middle schoolers. The last family I was working with had 2 sons, 12 and 14. The older one had special needs (Autism). I got a lot of home training from other team members and really grew from the experience. While I was working with the family I independently took several learning with out tears certification classes that focused on pre-school readiness and hand writing with developmentally appropriate approaches. Meeting children where they are is so important. Sadly Read more I had to leave that job when I moved to the Mint Hill area from GA. I am looking for a full time nanny/ nanny share position. My partner has 2 boys 6 (1st) and 8 (3rd) that he shares custody with. Typically my Boyfriend is able to take care of the boys during his custodial time however during longer school breaks and summer I would like to be able to bring them to work with me. It's important because it is some of the only times other then weekends I get to see them and my ideal family will feel comfortable with that accommodation.
