Come Join our Family :) My 1st Steps Preschool program was created to nurture your preschooler’s mind with a curriculum designed for elementary school preparation. We help children develop into students through enjoyable activities that are driven by imagination and work in tandem with our unique approach to learning. Milestone Achievements: Our First Steps Reading & Literacy Program helps each student learn important reading skills. My 1st Steps Preschool uses the award winning RazKids reading program which ensures success and beyond with engaging, developmentally appropriate leveled books at 27 reading levels to increase comprehension and fluency. Students can read texts at their level, in their areas of interest, with a variety of books and authors. We also provide 24/7 Web access to all preschoolers to practice their reading with parents and grandparents, which allows them to Read more become better and more confident readers. The RazKids program allows each student to record their own voice when reading each book. These recordings are such a treat for parents, grandparents, and all family and friends. Learning Strategies My 1st Steps Preschool provides Pre-Kindergarten learning centers and curriculum designed to help introduce and build student comprehension. Our activities include independent study, hands-on groups in small and large formations, and realistic application. Students are able to apply thought, imagination, and creativity into their educational experiences through independent and cooperative learning strategies. Our individual and group centers help students apply what they have learned, and focus on building their comprehension. I provide $6 hourly or $40 for all day care.
