In addition to my 5 year old son, I have a 9 year old step daughter and 12 year old step son part time. I never imagined I would enjoy the after school routine of homework help and enrichment, and yet here I am enjoying every minute of it. I used to work full time in web development project management and thought a healthy paycheck was the only means to satisfaction until my little man was born and my step kids moved to NC. Competing against modern technology and convenience foods is not easy, but I do a pretty awesome job of keep all my kids balanced and healthy. We cook together, play together and talk about everything. I'm available to watch a preschool age boy in the afternoons before the big kids come home.
