I am a recent graduate from Clemson University with a degree in Recreational Therapy. I am currently applying to nursing schools in the area right now to pursue my advanced BSN. In college I babysat for several families in the area with children ranging from 0-12. I have worked as a camp counselor where I supervised a group of 25 children ranging from ages 5-12. As a camp counselor I provided basic first aid and oversaw the safety of all campers. I helped develop fun and educational programming for the camp, as well as planning for camp field trips. I also have experience working with individuals who have disabilities. I worked with a group of Clemson Students, called Clemson Life, who have cognitive disabilities. I helped them with maintaining a healthy lifestyle by assisting with choices made in the dining hall, facilitating a work out class, serving as an assistant Read more in a yoga class, and I helped with their schooling by serving as a mentor and a math classroom assistant. I also served as a 5u basketball coach for the local parks and rec. My life goal is to bring others happiness which is why I am so passionate about serving others and working with people. I have a high-energy, bubbly personality that improves the morale of those around me.
