I am a military wife, mother of 2 school age children (17 and 11), looking to assist you with your child care needs. I have a BS in Human Services and have worked in a psychiatric residential facility for youth ages 10-18 where I was residential counselor, supervisor, and mediator between the facility and school. I enjoy the outdoors, sports, reading, and intellectually stimulating games. Both of our sons are honor roll students so I must have done something right in my child rearing.
You would be my only family that I would be asissting during employment.
Weekend date night care are also available.
I love pets. I grew up with dogs, and currently my family has 2 Mainecoon cats that we adore.
I'm an avid reader and encourage reading time in my own home.
I believe it is important to guide children in choice making, not to choose for them. With that being said, I am a huge advocate for choice theory parenting.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

I am just writing this for Tera because she may need it after they get back from overseas. If her husband weren't being stationed away from us then we would keep her around forever, maybe even after the kids were grown. She is absolutely awesome and I am not sure how we are going to replace her. I am so afraid that she has ruined us for future nannies. Always on time, never complained about anything, she would always help out wherever I needed her. She would always volunteer to take them on the weekends so my husband and I could have an evening alone. She is the best and I am so sad that she has to go. Thank you, Tera! We will miss you so much!
