I've been a caregiver in some type of way for 10 years. I started baby sitting at 12 years old. At the time I was living on post so they required all the classes and training in order to be a baby sitter on post. We moved a lot and I would baby sit kids or provide child care for my parent's friends and for events like the Annual Training Conference. After I turned 18 and went to college it slowed down due to being way too busy. I would still baby sit from time to time when I came home for breaks. I got certified in first-aid, CPR, and AED in early 2013 for school and decided to start baby sitting again. However, I did not anticipate my class workload so I never really got started again. I did work as a math tutor around this time so I Read more recieved a certification for tutoring which expires the summer of 2015. My husband is military and I won't be attending college in the Spring of 2015 so I want to work full time as a nanny or a baby sitter. My major is mathematics with a concentration in applied math and for 1.5 years I've helped college students pass their math classes so no worries on helping with homework. I love children and I always have. I like to think I'm a great child caregiver because whenever I was working in this field I always had work. I will be available starting in January since I'm currently attending college and am really busy.
