I HAVE WORKED AT A IN HOME DAYCARE CENTER WHILE LIVING IN NEW YORK FOR ABOUT FOUR TO FIVE YEARS (2006-2011). THERE I WAS RESPONSIBLE TO TAKE CARE OF CHILDREN FROM THE AGES OF ONE MONTH OLD TO 14 YEARS OLD. I PROVIDED THE CHILDREN WITH FRESH, HOT AND NUTRITIOUS MEALS EVERYDAY ON A ROUTINE SCHEDULE (BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND SNACK). SUPERVISED CHILDREN DURING PLAYTIME WHETHER IT WAS OUTSIDE IN THE BACKYARD, AT THE LOCAL PARK AND EVEN DURING FIELD TRIPS. MADE SURE THAT THE CHILDREN WERE ALSO WELL RESTED WHICH RESULTED FROM A SCHEDULED NAP. ALSO ESTABLISHED LEARNING ACTIVITIES FOR ALL CHILDREN INCLUDING THE ONES COMING FROM AFTER SCHOOL, WHO WERE ALSO HELPED WITH HOMEWORK. ALL CHILDREN WERE ACCOUNTED FOR IN REGARDS OF THEIR WHEREABOUTS AT ALL TIMES AND IF THERE WERE ANY EMERGENCIES PARENTS WERE ALWAYS CONTACTED IMMEDIATELY.
