Hello, My name is Katherine. I became a care giver in high school just to make some extra cash. Now, I have graduated college and still desire to work with kids and help parents through the crazy, rewarding job of raising children. In college, I nannied and cleaned house for 2 families who eventually became my family. I only stopped because I was offered a "professional" job tutoring children with Autism. I currently hold that position now, but I am looking for a change. With HIPPA and company regulations, I am not able to truly invest in the children and families lives that I work with like I desire. I have held this job for 2 years just making sure that my desire to truly do life with people wasn't a phase. As it turns out, it is not a phase and I am looking forward to nannying in a Read more more relaxed, friendly role. I am trained in wilderness first aide and CPR, though I will need to get those certifications updated. My ideal nannying day consists of playing outside, going to the park, tutoring school, and loving on kids. I'm currently a ABA therapist and so have experience in Applied Behavioral Analysis.
