I have always loved jobs with children. I always had babysitting jobs throughout my middle school and high school years. When I attended college for two years my major was Elementary Education. I left school to care for my ailing mom. Soon after I married my high school sweet heart and became a stay at home mom with my two children. My son attends Indiana University Bloomington. He is in the Kelley business school majoring in Finance. He is doing extremely well. He will be a junior this coming fall. My daughter just got into Chapel Hill. She is in the IB program at North Mecklenburg High School. She is representing her school at the National Speech and Debate tournament at the end of May in Sacramento California. She also earned a summer internship with the Mayor's office after she graduates from high school. So I haven't worked in 20 Read more years but I have been a full time mom with very gifted and motivated children. My son ran track throughout his school career and won State in the 400 dash in Georgia. My daughter took dance lessons for 10 years and competed for 7 years. She had a injury that caused her to take a break from dance and allow her to participate in school activities. She was President of her class in 9th grade and Vice president in 10th grade, She has been on the Speech and Debate team for all four years and qualified for Nationals twice. She is also Captain of the speech and debate team. She has been on the DECA ( a marketing club) for four years and also reached National level twice. She is also a member of the National Honor Society. She is the treasurer of that organization. I am very proud of my children. I believe whatever you put in is what your going to get back. I would love to have a job working with children. I have always enjoyed teaching and spending time with children.
