Meet Chloe

Hello! I am currently a student at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, NC majoring in elementary education with years of casual and professional child care experience under my belt. When I moved to North Carolina from Connecticut two years ago, I began working as an assistant teacher at the local YMCA. I worked there for several months until I had to leave school for the summer. For those three months, I worked as a nanny for a wonderful family in Connecticut's two year old son. When it was time to go back to school, I began working as an afternoon teacher for two-year olds of various backgrounds, occasionally floating around in the one-year-old and four-year old rooms. I also tutored elementary school-aged children at Centro Latino for several months before finding work at the YMCA. Before I began working professionally, I was a nanny every summer for a boy in Charlotte Read more until he was five years old. I am a fun, loving, and responsible candidate for your nanny! To me, the most important things to have in life are 1.) safety, 2.) education, and 3.) a good time. In my free time, I am a musician. I find that incorporating music into my lessons and activities makes for a more fun and more educational experience. I come with CPR, SIDS, first aid training and certifications, and a background check from the state!
