I am a recent empty-nester who homeschooled her two kids and saw them off to academic and professional success. Once a long-term nanny when my kids were small, I love working with children and young adults. One of my biggest achievements in life was teaching both of my kids to read at a young age. Children and young adults with special needs are my speciality. Over the years, I have become the mom "on-call" for several families whose children have special needs. I also love talking with older people and caring for them like they are my own grandparents. My daughter's research is with Holocaust survivors and so I know how to love the elderly!
