I was a full time nanny for a child with special needs and his typically developing younger sister for 8 years. I started when the boy was 3.5 and sister was 2. Due to my educational background I was more than just a nanny. I implemented behavioral plans and provided 1:1 tutoring for the boy with special needs and taught him how to read. My educational background is in Elememtary Education and Special Needs. I have worked in public setting as a Kindergarten Literacy teacher, numerous special needs schools, etc. I have a passion for working with kids. I am a mom of two children ages 8 and 5. My son just started full time kindergarten, so I was interested in working moms hours, so I could still be home for my kids in the afternoons. The hours that roughly work best for me include 7am-2pm.
