Growing up with 21 cousins, myself being one of the oldest, I was always surrounded by younger children. I naturally took on the part of being a leader and an educator which later aided in my choice of completing my Masters in Elementary Education, specializing in Early Childhood. I was always ready to help out and provide my care when needed. I knew that I was highly depended on and I prided myself in my care-giving skills. I started care-giving for families outside of mine when I was in the 7th grade. Over these past 15 years I did everything from weeknights, weekends, overnight stays and vacations. I loved being able to help others while thoroughly enjoying my job. I have worked with children from 6 months old up to middle/high school. Once I started caregiving I never stopped. The responsibilities I handled contained of helping with homework, cooking meals, running errands, bath time, bedtime, and all the entertainment in between. Some of my favorite entertainment activities are; playing sports (I love them all), singing and dancing, arts and crafts, going for walks or bike rides, discovering new places, baking and cooking, and that’s just to name a few. Being able to provide these children with learning opportunities while enjoying every minute of life is my true passion, and the one job I believe has fulfilled this crave is being a nanny.
