I have 25 years as an experienced caregiver. I started babysitting when I was 10 years old after completing the 'safe-sitter' program through First Health Hospital. I was a full time nanny for two children at the age of 16. I was a born caretaker, and my experience as a nanny solidified my maternal calling. I worked for the North Carolina Wildlife Commission as a Wildlife Rehabilitator for 10 years. When I became a mother, I left work to be a stay at home mother for my two children. As my children are now in school, I am enjoying meeting other children that need a strong support system as they grow. I love taking the time to get to know each child as an individual and encourage plenty of play and intellectual enrichment. I do have experience with children who may have special needs. I will respect your parenting style to the best of my ability. I have room for up to six children in my vehicle with multiple age appropriate car seats for trips to the park, play dates, or any other needs you may have for your child's well-being. I am available to watch children in my home as well as yours. I am certified in CPR through the Red Cross, and have extensive medical/trauma experience.
