I have been recently employed in a group home for the developmentally disabled. I cared for the clients and ensured their comfort. I have recently relocated to NC, and am looking for work in a related field. My experience also comes from having 13 children, and being a grandmother of 2. We have adopted 3 of our children. As one can see I love kids, and consider them a gift from God. Our plan was to have a large family. My reason for moving to NC is to be close to my 6 adult sons who live the Wilson area. When my youngest turned 9, I began to wonder what I would do when they were all grown; I chose to enroll in college with a degree in web design. I have 51.5 credit hours so far and hope to graduate by the summer of 2016. I have also substitute Read more taught in Iredell County, NC from 2010 -2012. While subbing I had the opportunity to work with the special needs children in Mooresville, NC. I enjoy my work as a care giver and am hoping to continue in this field. I feel I can offer years of experience and care for your child(ren) or special needs family member. I am patient and still enjoy playing and going on outings.
