I am a mother of 3 almost grown children. I love working with people and have worked in many areas of caring and serving people. In 1999 - 2001 I was a pre-school teacher at a Christian Private School/Daycare. During that time I was certified in Early Childhood Development to meet the education requirements of that job. In 2001 - 2002 I took a position as a Teacher's Assistant working with children ranging from kindergarten to 12 grade with the same company. Since that time I have had the opportunity to do a few other different things that I had in my heart to do. One of those things that I starting pursing in 2013 was health care. I had always wanted to go into nursing ever since I was a child, but due to some of lives curves the opportunity did not open up to me until 2013 at Read more which time I entered classes at Forsyth Tech and became a state Certified Nursing Assistant. I enjoyed that so much that shortly after I finished that course I started the CNA II program and successfully completed that training and went on to be state certified. I am now certified with the NC Nurse Aide I Registry and also certified with the NC Board of Nursing as a CNA II. After being certified, in Nov. of 2014 I offered a job at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital as a CNA II and am currently still employed there. I am CPR certified and In Nov. of 2015 I updated my CPR certification so I am current for the upcoming year. I have much experience in caring for young children through adults of all ages and in many different types of circumstances, including caring for those who were completely healthy to those who were terminally ill, or people who have had learning disabilities, people with handicaps, those who have dealt with trauma, and recovering/rehabilitated addicts and more. I have a great interest in people. I am caring and compassion person, and have a great ability to be flexible and learn new things. I am reliable and have reliable transportation and feel I am qualified to care for children and adults of all ages and in many different circumstances.
