I would echo Michelle R's comments about Amber. Amber was an absolute lifesaver for us. We needed someone last minute to watch our 11-month old daughter while our regular nanny was out for a family emergency. After talking with Amber on the phone, it was clear that she had a ton of experience and I trusted her immediately. Amber was extremely professional and even offered to come early so we could walk her through everything the first morning. It's always nerve-racking to leave your child with a new care-giver, but Amber kept in constant communication with me throughout the week and updated me on the status of everything. Amber has a great nature about her and my daughter took to her quickly. I also appreciated that Amber did a great job maintaining my daughter's daily schedule and routine. I highly recommend Amber and would definitely hire her again if the need arose.

Amber babysat our daughter weekly from the time she was 8 months old to the time she was 18 months old which included several months during which she babysat my daughter for 20-25 hours per week while I worked part time. Amber still babysits for us on occasion. My daughter is currently a little over 2 1/2 years old. So, I have known Amber for approximately two years now. Amber also did household tasks for me such as laundry, dishes, cleaning, errands, cooking, etc. I would highly recommend Amber. She has gone above and beyond with anything I have asked her to do. She has a natural ability to quickly and effectively build a loving, caring, and trusting relationship with my daughter. My daughter always looks forward to "Ms. Amber" coming over. Amber is very active and takes initiative to do fun and stimulating activities with my daughter including going for long walks, being outside, doing arts and crafts, reading books, doing puzzles, learning words, etc. Amber seems to genuinely enjoy being with my daughter and my daughter has learned so much from her. Amber is comfortable and confident in her abilities to interact with children as well as parents. She has a very calming demeanor. Amber is not just our babysitter but rather has become a part of our family. She is not just an amazing babysitter, but she is a wonderful person. We are so fortunate to have found her and we highly recommend her without hesitation.

We interviewed Amber for a nanny position, and while we did not end up hiring her, my husband and I were extremely impressed. She was polite, engaging, punctual, genuine and just seemed to have a way with our 3 month old daughter. She came well prepared for the interviews and her extensive experience with infants/children easily shown through in her demeanor and actual handling of our daughter. We have no doubt that whomever hires Amber will be getting a caring, trustworthy person as well as a wonderful nanny.
