My name is Emma, I am 20 years old, my hometown is Waynesville, North Carolina. I am the youngest of 5 girls in my family but I also have a 4 year old nephew that lives with me. My oldest sister has a 5 year old boy, as well as his 2 year old brother and sister, that live over in Santa Monica. As you can see, I'm from a large child orientated family. Back home I am majoring in Early Childhood Education at a local community college but I decided to take a year off or so to get some real world experience. Im a good auntie and love watching Read more my nephews and niece. I was in Australia as an au pair for about 5 months. I loved it in Australia and it was a really good experince for me. While I was in Australia, I looked after two families. The first family had a 2 and 3 year old boy. The second one had a 4 year old boy and a 6 and 8 year old girl. I left australia at the beginning of November, 2014. Now that I'm back home in America, I am currently working at a local church daycare. It will be really sad for me to leave the daycare because Ive become close with the kids there. I love working at the daycare, the kids brighten my day everyday that I work there. Additional: Back home i was training as a Nurse's Aide. In addition to this, i was a lifeguard in the summers of both 2011 and 2012. This came complete with CPR training so any families with pools can rest assured that their child will be safe with me. I am very good with animals, because i've always had at least one dog or a cat in the family. I am a non smoker and i never drink on my jobs. I believe that exercise can be fun to children and i frequently go on hikes to interesting , scenic places. I'm conisidered very easy going by my friends and family, and i am very easy to talk to for both children and their parents. I am very open minded and always looking for ways to improve my services. Therefore i am happy to take on board any constructive criticism. I like to always teach children violence is never the answer, and that a good sense of humour will go a long way in life. I am an avid reader and will happily read a bed time story or 2. Everyday Skills: I own a full driving licence but i do not own a car. I am capable of a bit of light cooking
