I grew up with a mother who was a childcare provider. Through high school, I babysat and nannied quite a few children (2 weeks to 12 years old. My responsibilities were everything from cooking meals, tutoring, and music lessons to transporting kids to their after school activities. I have two children of my own (8 and 6), and I would like to include them (afterschool and during summer breaks). I believe education is done continually so I like to hike, cook, and do arts and crafts with both my kids and children I nanny.
