Hi! My name is Avery Schaefer, I'm a sophomore at UNC Charlotte studying to be an elementary school teacher. I worked throughout high school babysitting as many as 20-30 hours a week in addition to my work at a childcare facility. Here I worked 10 hours/week for two years with roughly 16 children in a classroom. When I graduated high school I began work in another childcare facility where I worked roughly 24 hours a week with up to 25 children in a classroom. I have been a nanny for 1-3 children the past two years and loved it! I love kids and look forward to building a great relationship with a wonderful family. I am CPR/AED certified by the Red Cross. I am currently studying abroad in Spain, and will be back and ready to start at the beginning of May.
