My name Alison Baxter and I am from Lake Placid, NY originally. I have lived in Wilmington 2 years now and am 29 years old. I became a caregiver because I love kids and found its a job that I am best at. I especially love infants and find I have a natural mothers instinct in me. My experience includes being a nanny for my old boss from home when he and his wife had two little girls. When I was his nanny his children were 2 and a newborn baby they had just brought home. I was a live in nanny during the week for them and responsibilities included getting up in the morning with them, some meal preparation, active playtime outside and night time routine which included bath time. Now I was more responsible for the 2 year old but loved helping out with the newborn anyway. A Read more lot of times when I would put the two year old down for a nap I would take the newborn so mommy could do some work and the baby would always end up falling asleep on me. I also had another past nanny job that was recently here in Wilmington for a 6 month old until he was 11 months. I would go to their house twice a week during the day and keep him entertained for about 7 hours until his mom came home. I have also babysat since the age of 14 and have grown up being one the oldest cousins on both my mom's and dad's side.
