I started working with children when I was about thirteen years old in my church's nursery. Ever since then, I've continued to volunteer in my church's nursery, as well as prepare lessons and teach sunday school and children's church from ages 2-14. Not only do I volunteer in the nursery and children's church, I was also a camp counselor for Roanoke Christian Camp, as well as help lead vacation bible school. I also did some baby sitting here and there, even though I was too young to get my license. When I turned sixteen, I started baby sitting during the summer months while parents were at work, and needed someone to watch the kids while the kids were out of school. My responsibilities included pick ups and drop offs, feeding kids lunch, taking them to different activities, etc. In the summer of 2014 I was a live in nanny for Read more a family that has two girls (9 & 5) while the mom was out of town and the dad was a farmer so he had to work early hours. As stated above, my responsibilities included pick up and drop offs to different summer camps, and activities, feeding breakfast, lunch and dinner, etc. In the fall of 2014, I applied and then got accepted for the Disney College Program for the spring of 2015. I ended up getting asked to stay for the summer term, as well as the fall term, so what was originally a 4 month internship, turned into a 10 month internship. I worked for Walt Disney World in Magic Kingdom where I spent my time creating magic for kids and families of all ages from all across the world. As you can see, I love children and I really hope that you consider me for an opportunity to take care of your little ones.
