Hi, I'm Megan. I'm currently 30 years old. I've loved children ever since I was a kid myself! I started babysitting at 12. At 14 I was working full time in the summer caring for a family with an infant and a 6 year old boy with ADHD and autism. I started working at a daycare center during school and full time during the summer when I was 16. Took care of all ages, cooked, cleaned, implemented activities. I was a head infant teacher for 5 years. Responsible for communication with the families, meal and lesson plans, provided emotion and physical support, and taught baby sign language. I was also a nanny for two toddlers for two years. I cooked, cleaned, educated, planned and implemented lesson plans, assisted with feeding tube, and speech and physical therapy. I spent a couple years living in Las Vegas and was blessed to work Read more with some wonderful families. Since moving back to Fargo I spent my summer nannying for a 5 year old girl. I want to make a difference in children and families lives. I am very passionate about what I do. I'm always learning more, and thinking of ways to improve the current childcare that people are receiving. I'm very into nature and using organic foods and products to assist in the healthy development of children and adults.

Megan was our sitter while she was in LV and I’d give anything to have her back. Both my young boys love her and we miss her so much! From the moment of her interview to her last day with us we knew she was a gem. You will need to look no further if you employ her. She kept a running journal of the day’s activities, did arts and crafts and even educational activities with my boys. I knew They were in fantastic hands and never worried while working 14hr days. She was like family and you will not be disappointed!

Megan was fantastic! She came last minute, on time, and was such a professional from the start. She followed all of our wishes regarding our darling 1 year old and even took him for a walk. She gave us follow ups all night and didn't hurry us at all. I would definitely use her again!

Megan was our part-time nanny for our baby boy. She started when he was approximately 4 months old and finished with us when he was 7 months old. She was excellent with him. She had great activities for him to do and gave great care and attention to him. She was also taught how to handle our two large dogs and she dealt with them very well at all times while managing the baby. She was flexible for the most part. The only reason I cannot give her 5 stars is that her reliability dwindled toward the end of her time with us and she gave us a no-notice quit. I was sad to see her go, but she had shown signs of not wanting to stay for about a week before she quit, including missing 3 shifts at last minute (one of which she no-called, no-showed). Her lack of professionalism and respect for the seriousness of the job at the end of our time together disappointed me greatly and my husband, and I felt it would be important to rate her honestly, since she showed a serious lack of care for us in her final week. I do believe she was a great caregiver, and would be a great nanny to someone. I just caution anyone who might use her to ensure a strict understanding of the expectations. We laid out her pay/hours/driving distance in the initial interview but she cited those things as the reasons she could no longer continue with us. I wish Megan the best of luck, and applaud her efforts when she was dedicated to my son.
