I have been helping out with children for at least 8 years now. My mother used to own a preschool that ranged from ages 3-6 and I would always help out. Tasks I did included teaching the alphabet, numbers and various learning skills. I have also helped over the years with friends and family members' children that have ranged from newborn up to age 15. I enjoy being around kids and would not be the type of nanny to just sit them in front of a TV. I believe it's better for them to be active and their minds engaged in an activity whether it be playing outside, or having fun while learning something along the lines of school work (reading, writing, math). I am a fun, loving nanny who everyone gets along with, especially kids.
