Robin’s Bio

My favorite job I have ever had was a live in nanny and household manager for a family that had five children. I was with the family for almost five years and loved them very much. I have also been a house mom for at risk youth. My husband and I took care of 10 high needs children. I am currently a preschool teacher but I have taught infants, toddlers and school aged classes in the past 10 years. I really enjoy traveling and have traveled all over the united states with families as a nanny and a chaperon. Life is full of teachable moments and my teaching style is to take full advantage of though times and teach children the important values of life like how to be a friend, why we have rules, the great things that come when we work as a team and how to make good choices and use their imaginations. We always have lots of fun when we are doing crafts, going on adventure or reading books. I even have ways of making homework and chores fun. I teach children to find the joy in everyday things. I see my role as a nanny to be an extension of the parents. I have taken class on the effect of child abuse on children. I have a fingerprint clearance card that means I have passed a 50 state background check.
