I have a Bachelor's degree in Child Development/Early Childhood Education. I have worked with children from birth up to age 17. I am certified in CPR and First Aid. I also have training in the Safe with You Program and much more. I provide guidance to children to develop their social, emotional, and intellectual aspects by reinforcing curiosity. I care for children's needs such as changing diapers or potty training, feeding, putting down for a nap, and comforting them. I like to keep communication open between myself and the parents so that we are able to talk about their child 's development and behavior. I also encourage the parents to tell me about any of their concerns. I plan and implement activities, devise appropriate disciplinary actions for children (this would be discussed with parents), and give academic support.
