I’ve never babysat or cared for any other child besides my little brother David. David is blind and has severe autism, along with being epileptic. These are all results from the right side of his brain never developing. I spent my whole life growing up with him and helping care for him. This requires a great deal of responsibility and patience. I needed to remember to lock doors, turn water valves off (David likes water) and meal preparation. David can eat semi independently but it needs to be cut into small pieces so he can swallow bites because he can’t chew. My point is I am qualified for childcare, not by a piece of paper, but by years of personal experience.
