Hi there! My name is Rachel, and I'm excited to be living in the Denver area after graduating from the Educational Psychology Master's program in Lincoln, Nebraska. During my graduate education, I was fortunate enough to nanny two kind, curious, and smart boys where my primary responsibilities included basic child care, meal preparation, house maintenance, driving, and taking them out on fun expeditions! In the past, I have had babysitting positions for children ranging from the age of 1-14, and recently was employed at OMNI Behavioral Health working with autistic children. As a future professional and individual, I am passionate about children, and would love the opportunity to meet a family who enjoys learning and participating in creative and fun indoor/outdoor activities. Not only am I certified in First Aide and CPR, but am also a certified Medication Aide and can legally distribute medication to children who require such. I Read more pride myself in being not only professional and responsible, but optimistic, energetic, and one who loves to embrace unique life experiences. Hobbies that I generally enjoy include cooking, playing sports (I am a long distance runner), spending time with my puppy Gus, and reading when I have the time.
