Hello! My name is Sarah Allen, and I’m 20 years old. I am currently studying elementary education, at Northwest Missouri State University. I absolutely adore kids, and can't wait to finish up my education so I can have my own classroom. I have lots of experience with all sorts of age groups. I started babysitting two kids, ages two and six, while I was in high school and all through high school. I ended up being their nanny for them before college. I also did some causal babysitting for an infant when he was 7 months, now 22 months, and for three siblings who are all in elementary school. I have experience in the daycare setting too. I was a preschool teacher at a Christian daycare, then got transferred to the infant department. In the infant department I worked with babies ages six weeks to twelve months. I was in Read more the daycare setting for a little over a year till I took the position to be a full time nanny. I have been a nanny for 4 children, ages 11, 6, and 3 year old twins. I got them ready for school and got them on the bus then I did some housekeeping while they were gone. I got all the children off the bus and played with them and planned different activities before the mother got home. I have always known that I wanted to be a teacher. I cannot imagine my life without being around kids every day. With me wanting to be a teacher I am the kind of babysitter that loves to be down on the ground playing with the children. I rarely ever have the television on unless it’s a special movie night. I like to go outside and go on walks or bike rides with the kids too. I am a very interactive babysitter that spends every moment devoted to the children.
