I have years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers; managing the varying needs of children in diverse stages of development! I immensely enjoy & find nothing is more rewarding than creating a positive, safe, nurturing, happy environment for children, one in which they feel protected & can thrive! In my years of experience working with infants, at-risk youth at Boys Town, children/teens at Omaha Public Schools, as well as adopting five children with delays; I have developed special techniques that prove useful in calming the most restless babies to children with common & unique health issues (ADHD, BDD, Aspergers, Depression, Epilepsy, Paraplegia, Etc). I've NEVER been a situation where I haven't remained patient, responsive, & compassionate; especially during these times when my love and understanding is needed the most. As a current triple major & graduating senior, I believe in education & can ensure your child(ren) will be exposed to fun activities where they can continue to grow & flex those brain muscles to be more than prepared for their next academic milestone! I've also taught music & basic foreign language lessons that I would love to incorporate in our daily routines! Im full of energy, creativity & imagination, I can guarantee that I will be an active participant in your child's life both indoors & out! I take safety extremely seriously, & am trained in adult, child & infant CPR. I look forward to finding the perfect fit & becoming a part of a family. I am often motivated by knowing that I'm viewed as a valued and trusted teammate cherished by those whom I impact the most. I enjoy following set guidelines & the lead of the parent(s) when it comes to the rearing of their child morally/emotionally/physically. I have great organizational & communication skills that will come in handy when informing you of any of the events that transpire throughout the day. I also have tools for the parents to be able to check in & visually see what we are up to throughout the day or record every fun-filled minute. I also don’t mind doing extra duties for you, like cleaning, cooking, secretarial work, appointments, running errands, etc!
