I have little work experience in an assisted living facility. I worked overnights so I mainly finished any laundry that needed to be done for the residents, folded, and set in their rooms. I did my usual rounds to check on the residents and answered and call lights for residents who needed asstance to the bathroom. I liked to think of the residents i cared for as my own family and cared for them the same way i would want my family to be cared for. When i was in middle school I would help my neighbor rake her leaves in the fall, and visit with her and her mom, sometimes just sitting in a nice quiet room or learning and playing a card game called kings corner. I enjoy being with the elderly and keeping them company, and just being there for anything they may need.
