I started baby-sitting nearly 12 years ago and have since been a teacher in homeschool co-op and church nurseries for 4 years, nanny for 5 years, and mother's helper occasionally. Over my 11 years in childcare, I have had experience with all ages, though particularly newborn-3 yrs. As a nanny, I cared for 9 month old and 3 year old siblings, 4 month old and 2 year old siblings, 3 children in a nanny share (each from the age of 10 weeks or 3 months), I night-nannied for a 6 month old, and I assisted a mother with her 4 week old preemie twins. I have excellent references from these experiences and I have been Infant/Child/Adult CPR certified (it is currently expired but I will renew it before starting a new position).
