Since I was about 12, I have been babysitting. I've completed CPR and a babysitters certification. I've worked with kids with different disabilities and work well with pets in the household. I'm a TeamMates mentor in Lincoln and I love spending time with kids, building their confidence, and allowing them to find enjoyment in life. I love working with children and am on my way to earning my music education degree at UNL. I believe that children should have as much fun as possible while still learning and getting any chores and homework accomplished by bedtime. When I babysit in the summer on a regular basis, I make a "theme of the day" to get learning, snack, and other Read more activities all connected so that, even though they are not at school, they are still keeping their brains working. I've babysat from 1-8 kids at a time, and up to 3 with disabilities, so I'm ready for basically anything you want to "throw" at me. Ages vary from 3mo-12years. Willing to go older and younger if need be. Because of my wide experience in babysitting children, I've learned that patience is the best thing to have when watching and taking care of kids. I usually arrive 15min before a job, 30min if it's the first time. Patient, responsible, fun, outgoing, and loving are a few words that I think best describe me.
