I am looking to care for children aged 3-6. I have over a decade of experience in preschool classrooms and a degree in Early Childhood Education with many additional classes and training in Special Education. I am CPR and First aid certified and I do have a state background check with fingerprinting. I believe in supporting a child's education through natural guided experiences. I provide a certain amount of structure to the day while allowing for the children to express their interests and encouraging teachable moments. My philosophy is based on a lot of Montessori beliefs, and I believe the environment you create will help foster independent learners. I do offer two different types of assessments that are linked to the activities I provide the child and based on both my observations and your observations of the child.
