I have been taking care of children ever since my aunt and uncles started having children of their own. It then expanded into caring for my neighbors children, and sometimes their dogs. When I was attending college, I took a job nannying part time two young boys, which included driving them to activities, picking them up from school, snack time, play time, and dinner prep.
