Hello! My name is Kate. I currently work as a case manager for adults with disabilities. I also have experience working with children with special needs. I have a BS in Psychology, with minors in Human Services and Business. I love kids! I also love animals, art, and being outside (as long as it's not raining, haha!). My favorite color is green. And orange. And purple. My favorite food is raspberries. And chicken parmesan. And mint chocolate chip ice cream. I love the ocean and going to the beach. I loathe blue cheese. One of my life dreams is to somehow incorporate behavioral modification therapy with art, music, playtime, and teaching kids how to read...all at the same time. Sounds goofy, right?? It probably would be, but it would also be fun, and I bet the kid would love it. I like to look at everything we do as humans Read more as a learning experience. Regardless of the result, good or bad, we've learned something from it. Watching children grow and learn from their experiences is the most fascinating, since the majority of their experiences are 100% unique to them; they are guaranteed to learn something new each time.
