I was born and raised in New Hampshire, am married, have two grown children. I enjoy country living, travel, theater, dance, music, New Hampshire lakes, mountains, and the seacoast I home schooled my children from birth through the sixth grade and they have gone on to be successful students and excellent employees. I chaired as President of of the Friends of the Library for three years, and organized many children's events and programs for home schooled children for several years. I have worked in both private and public school settings; acquiring more than ten years of professional experience. I hold a Lead Teacher Certification for early childhood education through Manchester Community College and am credentialed through the State of NH. I am certified in CPR and First Aid, have a clear criminal background check, and maintain an excellent driving record. I regularly attend workshops and seminars related to teaching young Read more children through NHAEYC and NH Early Learning affiliates and consistently meet the required professional training hours expected by the State of NH. I have experience working with a wide range of personalities and learning styles and have been very successful helping children and their families reach their developmental goals within a nurturing and stimulating environment. I have strong skills in organization, communication, daily routine planning, creativity and safety. I enjoy helping children connect with the world in which they live through nature, art, music, dance, theater, travel, hands-on activities, exploration and problem-solving. I work with children and their families in a congenial manner and demonstrate flexibility that helps to be conducive for everyone.
