"It takes a village to raise a child" I have been fortunate enough to have had the honor of being apart of these "villages". I have been watching children of all ages for several years now--most of the time not being paid with money, but paid in satisfaction, and experience. I am the oldest of five siblings. My youngest sister was autistic when she was younger, which exposed me to the autistic community. I have had the opportunity to attend programs that taught me the tools, and skills to help individuals. I have worked at a special needs camp for individuals with chronic diseases, and a rehab facility. Im not the average baby sitter. I did not take baby sitting classes, I have learned hands on by working/helping with the youth from my "village". I love animals, cooking, and being outdoors. I was previously wilderness first aid, and regular first Read more aid certified but am no longer. I am willing to get my recertification.
