People always say love what you do and you will never work a day in your life. I think that is a great statement. However, taking care of children is definitely work, but it is work that is rewarding and enjoyable. I have been working with children since I have been 16 years old. Even before then I was known as the pied piper of the beach because all the little ones would follow me around to play. Let's just say the moms on the beach were super grateful! :) Since I have been in high school, I have worked in daycare. I have worked with every age group from infants to kindergarten. As much as I love all the age groups for one reason or another, I have to say I love those babies! I went on to college to study education and psychology and found myself back in Read more daycare only this time as Management. My career has grown from the classroom to management and yet after it all, I found myself back in the Nanny role. I love taking care of children and I truly believe there are certain people who belong in this role. So many like to think it is an easy job! Well, I would love to see some of those people handle the situations I have dealt with throughout the years.
